Welcome to our web site Prams Of Distinction.
Bill and Lorraine would like to welcome you to our world of wonderful coachbuilt prams from years gone by.
Our passion for these beautiful works of art started in 2006 when we were informed we were going to be grandparents for the first time.
We decided no buggies for us, our grandchild was going to have the best possible transport we could buy. So our search began.
The first pram we really liked was for sale in Southend. As we reside in North Yorkshire a long trip was planned. Pleased as Punch with our purchase we arrived back home after an extremley long day and polished our pride and joy. Then we did what was to change the rest of our lives.
Looking on an auction site we saw a second pram that we just had to have. So the following day Bill drove up to Glasgow and so our collection began. We accumulated 30 prams in no time at all.
Over the years we have now downsized to 5 but have passed on over 60 prams in the last 5 years. Great to know they are still in demand.
So that is how our passion got underway and I can promise you it only gets stronger over the years.
It has been our privilage to meet some wonderful people and hear some heart touching tales.
When viewing any images on our site if you left double click on any image you can view all the images in a larger size. You can then go forward to the next image by moving your curser to near the top of the image on the right hand side.
If you would be interested in our prams being displayed at your gala, summer fate, show or any special occasion, please drop us an email.
Thank you for visiting our site and should you like to contact us our email address is:
